Music has been a part of me since before I could speak. According to my late father, as an infant lying in my crib, I would move my body to the rhythm of whatever music filled the room. That early connection was a sign of what was to come: a lifelong love affair with music, and a deep devotion to the piano.

Born and raised in India, I trained for years under one of the finest piano teachers in Calcutta, earning certifications through the prestigious Trinity College of Music, London. I have performed at church events, family gatherings, and beyond, bringing joy to every room the music touched.

When I came to the United States, my beloved adopted country, I carried that passion with me and built a new life rooted in music, family, and purpose. It’s a journey I’m incredibly proud of, and one that continues to inspire everything I do.

Today, I channel all of that experience into teaching. I have worked with young children, teenagers, and adults; from complete beginners to those rekindling a childhood dream. Whether you read sheet music or learn purely by ear (as I often do), I meet you exactly where you are.

If you’ve always wanted to play the piano but held back by fear or self-doubt, I understand that feeling, and I’m here to tell you: you can do this. In my classes, you’ll go from learning the notes, scales, chords, and arpeggios, all the way to playing the songs you love. That moment when it all comes together is one of the greatest joys I get to witness as a teacher.
